Apple Updates Its Project «Flying Saucer»
The Apple Campus 2 has been delayed and should be finished in 2016. The Cupertino company has in any case updated its plans and projects that the municipality has published on its website.
According to the website of the Municipality of Cupertino, best known for hosting the headquarters of Apple, the company founded by Steve Jobs has updated its new building project. Extremely futuristic, the latter called Apple Campus 2, form a sort of ring giant (over 260 000m2 of floor space), made of glass and metal and should be able to accommodate 12 000 term employees, according to the file (PDF ). Located on land previously owned by HP, the new headquarters will be surrounded by trees and a large park. Steve Jobs had also praised the positive environmental impact when presenting the project to the Cupertino City Council. Parking, very large (10 500 seats in total), to be partly buried, as explained elsewhere the deceased boss of Apple.
